This isn't a picture that I would normally post.
It's fuzzy and unclear. You can't really see faces or expressions. The light is a little odd and unbalanced.
It's also exactly what I needed to see through my filthy kitchen window the day I took it. Three reasons for being.

It's a story all by itself.
P.S. To everyone who commented, called, e-mailed, prayed and thought of me over the last few days, it did not go unnoticed. Every single one of you gave me more of a boost than I ever could have imagined. What a wonderful blessing it is to have so many amazing people to consider friends. I am overwhelmed and lifted.

I.LOVE.That.Picture.
That is an awesome tree. Perfect for swings; for climbing; for clubhouses and forts.
And it's not a bad place for the kids to play, either. ;)
I agree, I love that photo! It's a beautiful view from your window :)
glad we could help. i bet my kitchen window is dirtier than yours. maybe i should do a scrapbook layout on it!!!
I love it. It looks so dreamy. :)
That picture is beautiful...definitely worth posting. I didn't get a chance to comment on your last post...I'm glad you've finally been able to figure out your problem, but fibromyalgia SUCKS! Being in the health food industry has opened my eyes on it though...there's a lot of natural stuff you can do. I'm a dynamo at researching this stuff. If you want to go the holistic route tell me and I'll see what I can find out for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you friend.
Love,
Em
That is a great photo, all the kids together by choice I'm guessing.
That is a great photo. Sometimes the best photos are the ones that aren't perfect but are perfectly wonderful.
I'm not the only one who loves that picture! It's should be in a story book! Seriously LOVE it!!
Here, here! I have three of those same reasons! I think it's a beautiful shot, dirty window and all.
Just read your previous post and wanted to send a virtual hug your way. My mom has fibromyalgia so I can relate a little to what you're going through. I know that everyone responds differently to treatments but some dietary changes have helped her tremendously. Best of luck to you. Keep your chin up!
I can't think of anything I would rather see outside my window than my three little reasons for living. One of my favorite things in the world, is when my kids all play together. I will just stand there and watch -- unnoticed of course -- because saying something usually breaks the spell.
I hope things are starting to look up for you.
I can't say the same for your football team.
I reckon it's a classic shot. Seriously.
And I echo your sentiments wholeheartedly. Our children are our lives.
What a beautiful picture! All the reasons you normally wouldn't have posted it are exactly what makes it speak. It's wonderful.
Don't sell yourself short - that is a great shot. And, I'm here if you need me.
I think the view is pretty fantastic, and three amazing blessings!
That picture is GORGEOUS!!! I love that tree.
PSF - My Brush with Crabs
We have a big picture window in our living room and it is dirty right now. I wish it were cleaner but it would take an effort to get out the ladder, fight the bushes in front of it and get it clean. Then the OK wind would blog the dirt right back on it. I would really enjoy my view through a cleaner window. But, now that I have seen your cool picture maybe i'll wait a bit longer!:):)
I happen to like the imperfections of the photo. Great reasons, indeed!
See that's what makes it the best picture...it's not quite perfect...just like all of us...but we still manage to be beautiful, even though we may be looking through a dirty window.
See I found the lesson today...;)
Are you crazy?!? That picture is perfect. Everything about it reeks of excellence. This post made my day. Thanks Cecily!!
I love it. Its pure perfection. Love the treatment too.
I think it's a perfect photo! Sometimes the imperfections make it perfect...
I just got to read your last post. I'm thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. I know that can't be easy... Many Many Blessings!!
That is a beautiful picture for what it is and what it represents.
I also just read your last post, and I hope that now you will find the right combination of medications to give you some relief. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Absolutely amazing, idyllic, and wonderful.
I think that's a great photo! :)
oh, my goodness!! What a beautiful, beautiful picture!!! you should turn that into a painting!!
wow, i LOVE that photo. it is just such a dreamy view of your life!
I probably always say this, because I love ALL your pictures, but regardless of the distance and dirty window, I LOVE IT!! It's a KEEPER!! Your right it has a story to tell.
I love how Isaac is sitting on the ground pushing Evie (is she still in her pajama sleeper?) and how Gracie looks so adorable with her hair in a pony tail and her feet touching the ground. It's totally priceless. What an awesome tree to have two swings!! I say you frame it for the wall to remind you.
This is the most beautiful picture. I hope you are feeling better. {Hugs}
That picture is a happy one!! One for the wall for sure...however all of your pictures I love to look at and hang on my wall. Hope all is well.
I absolutely adore that picture. Life at its best...
I love it - it's beautiful!!! It's sooo Vermeer!
Happy Friday!
the picture and the words made me CRY! seriously, what is wrong with me!?!
i love it. i truly love it!
i want MORE of that...badly!!
This photo is breathtaking. seriously fantastic. WOW!
I hope you find yourself feeling better.
Happy PSF!
There was something etherial about your photo.
I was reading your previous post and I was so sorry to hear of your back problems & recent diagnosis. Must be tough for you, but you know now what the problem is. Hope you can get relief for it.
It is an awesome picture, dirty window and all. Live is like this picture full of joy and dirty windows!
What an adorable photo!!!
I love it! You should frame that - it looks so rustic and sweet and beautiful!
I agree with Felicia, it is adorable shot
My PSF entry this week : in HERE. Hope you have time to visit . Thanks
Sometimes it's the fuzzy and out-of-focus pictures that end up being our favorites. :)
I just read what you're going through and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, for an end to your pain.
Still, it does make a wonderful picture!
I agree with the other - a truly good picture. I love the window scene!
Those are exactly the kind of photos that I take every day. The ones that will never be considered good by the photography experts, but that show me exactly what my children did as they were growing so quickly. Because of that, it's one of the best pictures I've seen here in a while. And you've got some great photographs!
I'm glad that you can still see the beauty of your family. Hope you feel better soon.
LOVE the pic! You take fabulous pics...all of them are perfect!
I love that photo both because it's candid...the kids didn't seem to know you took it and because that is a very specific view from your eyes, your house that is worthy to remember for generations to come. Plus, the color and the light are perfection. Awesome, awesome job.
Wonderful photo.
Sometimes the imperfect photographs are the most beautiful.
And what wonderful blessings they ARE.
That is a great picture...even with the fog!!
And I hope you get to feeling better soon...hopefully the medicine will start working and will relieve you of some pain & discomfort!!
Sometimes it is the smallest things that can make our day, huh?
Hang in there.
Hope you got my message.
it is a beautiful picture, and it tells everything...
That picture is Amazing!!! I love the whole idea.
That is a beautiful photo. And one of the reasons I appreciate you so much...you're a lemons-to-lemonade, glass-half-full, look-for-a-silver-lining kind of gal, not gonna let the bad things in life get you down.
That is just what I want to see when I look out my window too! It's a beautiful shot, and great that you thought to capture it!
On another note, I just read your previous post (I kinda float around in space sometimes and don't get back for a while...) And I just wanted to tell you that I love you and hope you are feeling better soon. I'm glad you got a diagnosis, and sorry it didn't come with more clear cut answers.
My SIL has fibromyalgia, and for the longest time everyone thought she was making up her pain to get attention.
It's not a fun disease, and I'm sorry you have to deal with it.
Chin up, everyone out there loves you and prays for you and thinks of you all the time.
Me included.
Loves...
xo
I love your psf today:) What a great fun tree.. for all sorts of fun:) Thanks for hosting:)
I think it is the most perfect picture ever!
I think this photo is lovely and could be on a cover of a book! Or you should have it blown up and framed for your foyer!
I think it's great, it really shows a feeling and a moment. Awesome!
Girl, I totally feel ya. I take comfort in the everyday goodness as well. I love that shot Cec. Seriously, go rest and enjoy the weekend.
Your kids are so lucky.
Even through the fuzziness, there is clarity.
A true interweaving of what is and what REALLY is.
A dirty window. big deal.
Joy and happiness. BIG DEAL.
Thinking of you . . .
Even with the fuzzy window it's a nice shot of the kids at play. :)
It's funny, because as imperfect as you think this picture is, it grabbed me and I sat there contemplating the story-- and came up with several. Great shot!!
You're on my mind!
odd, unbalanced, fuzzy, unclear - pretty much sums up ALL of my photos! lol
Despite the imperfections, it is a great photo!
And the perfect PSF.
P.S. Can I come play in your backyard? Those are some AWESOME swings!
It's a great picture anyway, even if it doesn't seem to be to you. It's all in the perspective.
There's a real sense of bright, communal spirit in this shot that only an imperfect blur and lighting can tune! Delightful!
Well, I'm glad you posted that picture. I don't know what it is about it, maybe the old window frame perhaps, but it has an old fashioned feel about it. Really pretty.
i like the pic...no matter what. fun!
I think you should frame it. I know I would. It is perfect in so many beautiful ways.
Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Sandi
ps
congrats on the POTD mention!
Yes, precious reasons for being. I hope you feel better and better.
What a sweet endearing picture! You will love it for years to come. I have an Aunt who has struggled with fibromyagla (I spelled it wrong). It can get better. I know how hard it was for her. I am so glad you have some kind of diagnosis. Us "mom's" tend to feel pretty guilty and put way to much pressure on ourselves.
((HUGS))
I really like the photo.
I liek the feel of it.
Sometimes the ones we dont try hard for turn out to be the best.
Wonderful job!
I've been a bit busy recently and only just caught up on your last few posts, so I hadn't read about your joint problem. It must be difficult living with something like that all the time and you need to keep your spirits up in many different ways. Glad the blogging helps and that picture certainly must!
All the best
WM x
Ceceily,
This picture is absolutely amazing. Do you have any idea what an awesome photographer you are? Seriously amazing.
keep your chin up!!
love you girlie!
Isn't it funny how seeing all that matters in the world makes the dirt just disappear. Beautiful photo and post.
Wow! That is one cool picture. You need to do something with some of this photography you do. Like cards, or postcards, or something! I've been in hiatus for a month so I need to go back and catch up on your posts. I've read some and haven't some...(just in case you start to see some random comments in your old posts).
